Starknet by Starkware is an Ethereum-based Layer 2 network, a permissionless decentralized Validity-Rollup (also known as a ZK-Rollup). Every address on StarkNet is a smart contract. What is Ready Wallet (previously Argent X)?
Ready Wallet is a browser extension for Chrome (Chromium), Edge and Firefox browsers - a wallet that operates on Starknet. Ready Wallet was the first wallet on Starknet that is actively used by Starknet dapp developers.
It is a wallet that allows you to try Starknet, invest, exchange your Starknet assets, play games, interact with NFT projects and many more.
It also lets you explore the available projects as they are built and work on your own dapp, using a wallet with simple interface to transact.

How does Ready Wallet work?
Ready Wallet connects to dapps (decentralized apps on the blockchain) so you can use your wallet with Starknet apps. When a dapp asks you to make a transaction, Ready Wallet shows you a request. You can check the details and choose to approve or reject it, just like with Ethereum wallets.

Ready Wallet is available as an extension in Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge and Firefox Addons.
