What is a smart account in Ready Wallet?

When creating an account in Ready Wallet, you will notice that you can create a Standard account or a Smart account. 

Smart account has Two-factor authentication (2FA) that allows to: 

1. Import Ready Wallet account into Ready Wallet mobile app as a read-only, or a fully functional account.
2. Protect your wallet with email authentication, so that even if your seed phrase is compromised, the malicious party would not be able to drain the wallet.
3. Recover your account in case a seed phrase is lost 

How to change an existing standard account to a smart account in Ready Wallet? 

1. Go to Settings in the top-left corner of your wallet.
2. Account settings
3. Upgrade to Smart Account: please note that upgrading to smart account is an onchain transaction.

Please make sure you are using a safe and accessible email address. Do not use temporary, catch-all or shared email addresses.
