If you see a network congestion warning, it means the blockchain is experiencing unusually high activity.
During periods of congestion:
- Transactions may take longer to process.
- Some transactions may fail.
- Network fees (gas) may be higher due to increased demand.
What can you do?
- Review the estimated network fee before confirming your transaction.
- If your transaction isn't urgent, consider waiting until network activity decreases.
- If a transaction fails, wait a short time and try again.
Why does this happen?
Blockchain networks have a limited capacity to process transactions. When many users submit transactions at the same time, the network becomes congested. This can increase transaction fees and affect how quickly transactions are processed.
Still having problems?
If your transaction continues to fail after the network is no longer congested, contact Ready Support at help@ready.co and include:
- The transaction hash (if available)
- The asset you were sending or interacting with
- A screenshot of any error message
