Starknet will now support native USDC used across blockchains. You will see two versions of USDC in Ready and Ready Wallet:
Old USDC = USDC.e
Native USDC = USDC
What does this mean for my Ready Card?
Your Ready Card will continue to work as normal. Over time you will be encouraged to migrate to Native USDC in app and we will retire USDC.e
If you didn't yet migrate the tokens, the card will be using your USDC.e balance, and USDC once you complete the migrate.
How do I get the new USDC?
You can migrate USDC.e to USDC in the Ready app by clicking on USDC migration notice.
Why should I migrate to Native USDC?
Native USDC is minted by Circle. It’s safer (no bridging risk), cheaper, and future-proof. Old USDC (USDC.e) will be phased out over time.
Do I need to act now?
No. There’s no rush. USDC.e will be phased out gradually.
Why are there two versions of USDC?
USDC.e is the older bridged version. USDC is the new native version from Circle.
