What is it?
We want to make sure you never lose access to your cryptocurrency. That is why we made it as simple as possible to recover your wallet.
How does it work?
There are two ways to recover your Argent wallets:
- Recovery onchain (with 2FA)
- Recovery with seed phrase (Argent X only)
Recovery with seed phrase
If you are using Ready Wallet, the browser extension, you can recover your wallet using your 12-word seed phrase. This is the set of words shown to you when you first created your wallet.
Store it somewhere safe and offline. Anyone with this phrase can access your wallet.
Recovery onchain
Onchain recovery works for Ready Wallet accounts individually if you have previously enabled 2FA - email associated with your account works as a guardian.
There is no in-app way to initiate the recovery, so if you lost your seed phrase, but the account was protected by 2FA, send us a message to wallethelp@ready.co
